Who is the monument in the Park of Noble Souls dedicated to?

The monument was unveiled in 2010 on the occasion of the unveiling of a new part of the cemetery. It pays tribute to all Slovak people who helped save the Jews during World War II. We are thus reminded of citizens who, in some cases, even endangered their own lives in order to save the lives of dozens of others. Their heroic deeds included helping people living in inhumane conditions without freedom. Why did they find themselves in such conditions? Because of their religion. Because they allowed themselves to have an opinion. They were doctors, lawyers, teachers, children but also ordinary people...
